Affordances of playful objects
Your group has been given a toy. As a group, play with this thing and discuss:
- What kinds of play does this toy afford? Try and find several.
- How does the toy signify that these affordances exist?
- How does the toy signify playfulness? What makes it look like it's for play and not for work?
- Are there any constraints that prevent it from being played with the wrong way?
